The UK Bodysurfing Championships C.I.C.have launched a Crowdfunder.

Bodysurfing as a sport had been going nowhere in the UK until this year, but this is set to change dramatically now the the sport has a direction and purpose.

The UK Bodysurfing Championships C.I.C. (a non profit Community Interest Company) are looking to raise just a little more funding to ensure that they get their inaugural event off to the  fantastic start it needs in what is set to become an annual Bodysurfing Championships at Fistral Beach, Newquay, Cornwall.

There is also every prospect that as a founder member of the Euro Bodysurfing Association their event will become just one of a series of 4 events across western Europe in the coming years. Events are already taking place in France, Portugal and Morocco.

Although they have been extremely successful in getting loads of sponsors on board in these first 12 months, it has been more difficult than they imagined to raise all the necessary funds.

So they ask, please be generous and give just a little to make sure that their event does go ahead as planned, and ensure it becomes a success. If everyone just gives a little will help a lot, and for those keener bodysurfers who fancy some fantastic rewards for their generosity, there are a limited number of rash vests and posters available for larger donations.
