The UK Bodysurfing Association CIC are very proud to have surf clothing manufacturer Finisterre as one of it’s sponsors for their UK Bodysurfing Championships this year.

 

Born over a decade ago from the needs of hardy British surfers, Finisterre design both functional and sustainable products for those that share a love of the sea.

Finisterre started off with just an innovative fleece designed to keep out chilly winds and warm up surfers after a session in the sea, but have never looked back since!

Based in St Agnes, Cornwall Finisterre have gone on from those early days to be now developing a wide selection of both functional and sustainable surfwear products.

Finisterre, named after one of the most rugged headlands in SW England, bears the full brunt of many North Atlantic gales, and was once a forecast area in the Shipping Forecast.

Finisterre literally means “end of the earth or land’s end”.

The UK Bodysurfing Association CIC look forward to developing further this new sponsorship.

Finisterre have a wide range of shops across England, from the depths of Cornwall to Brighton and Bath, also a flagship store in Covent Garden, central London.

The UK Bodysurfing Championships take place at Fistral Beach, Newquay over the weekend 26-27th September 2020.
